Loving the videos! You may be interested to note that we've added a new video link feature. On the first page of the upload process we've added a field to put in the url of your video, so people can link to a video hosting site (eg youtube) and see your video in more detail before they buy.

My suggestion would be to use it and give them a sneek peak of what your videos look like...keep it short and grab their attention. Maybe you could make a small montage of a few and add word like "Get these full length mobile videos at voeveo"...or something like that :)

Something else i was thinking about. What would be my best way of 'giving away' the occasional movie, through voeveo. ?. I've got a short Froyd movie/gag here, which just needs text added and final rendering. I'd like to say on it something like 'Froyds Easter Freebie', by johnar, voeveo seller. or along those lines.
Would i need to have the flie stored elsewhere, and how could i advertise it for free on voeveo? (if possible)
Is there a chance of, maybe, a voeveo free page?
I believe that the occasional Freebie is really a good way of people advertising thier work.
Any thoughts on this?

Hi johnar,
At the moment, we are unable to send content to mobiles for free because of the cost of sending it out and delivering it. So the closest you could do would be to price it at the minimum price to cover costs and do it that way.

If the content was available as a free download to PC, we have no problem with you linking to it from our site, either in the forums, or from your voeveo page or content details page. You could say something like "Click here to get a free Easter download for your PC" and link to the site where the download is hosted. Unfortunately we don't offer download to PC's ourselves (although this may change in the future), as we want to keep the focus on mobile content as not to overwhelm our buyers. If you do decide to do this in the forums, let me know and I can help you out with the post (if you wanted to include any pictures or an imbedded video etc).

We have thought of offering bulk content prepays to sellers, where a seller could pay for delivery costs of a set amount of a particular piece of content, and then offer it up as free to buyers. Do you think that would be a service that you would find useful?

Offering free content is something we have also thought about, but it would require a fair bit of development work to implement. So while we're not able to offer this service at the moment, if we do implement it at a later date, you will be one of the first to know :-).

Hi there. A question for MikeP or Annabel.
I've been coming up with some ideas, and am working through a short mixture/preview of some of my stuff.
Problem is, i'm having an identity crisis. :). Was wondering, can i change my name?. I think i may have read somewhere that i cant. ?
Even if it meant starting from scratch, i would rather do that now, before i get too far involved in voeveo, as johnar. (johnar46 at other addressess. ie: email )
I have a new identity which i would really like to use. I feel its more 'catchy', and would help to market my stuff better than johnar/johnar46.
Is this possible? I don't mind starting again if i have to.
