A Brazilian company called Rede Jovem is using text messages to connect 19 - 32 underprivileged kids with opportunities to have fun, stay safe and get healthy.
Brazilian youngsters just sign up to their 0800 Rede Jovem programme for daily texts about local free sports events, music, medical checkups and more. Apparently over 500 kids living in slums have already signed up and use these messages to connect.
What a fabulous idea. Nice one Rede Jovem!
