We've now added a new feature to the upload process: the ability to select a general resolution group rather than a specific resolution size for your content. Now when uploading your image content you can select to make your content available for all phones that match the following:
-All Tall Resolutions
-All Widescreen Resolutions
-All Square Resolutions
What this means is that you can upload three versions of each image - a square resolution (eg. 320x320 pixels), a tall resolution (eg. 240x320), and a widescreen resolution (eg. 320x240), and select the appropriate resolution setting for that version. Our system will then match it to all buyers whose phones have that screen type.
This tool is also available for video and game sellers who wish to make their content available to certain screen sizes.

Hi Zeroin,
We decided against doing this for all existing content, as we figured its up to the individual sellers to decide if they want their content available for these resolutions. However, since you ask, I'll see what we can do in your case :-).

Hi Zeroin,
I've talked to our developer, Joe, and he's going to put together a script that will do this for all your image content. We'll set all 128x128's to Square, all 208x144's to Wide, and all 240x320's to Tall. When only one size is available for a particular piece of content, we'll set to "All Resolutions". We should have that done by the end of the week.

thanks mike great idea if you can do it automatically :) does the script upscale the graphic or just downscale as the image quality might go blurry if its stretched up alot?

Hi Zeroin,
No we never upscale images, only downscale them. If someone with a larger resolution decides to buy a smaller image it will appear on their phone with borders around it.

Hi Zeroin,
All your image versions should be set to "All Square", "All Tall" and "All Widescreen" now, according to their dimensions. Any with just one version were set to "All Resolutions".
