Team Q&A – Meet Jeff
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I’m a kiwi girl born and bred. That means I need to be near sun, sea or snow to make my life complete – so living in New Zealand that’s not hard. Growing up here meant endless summers camping near a beach – deep blue sea, white sand, sun burn and days without end.
What do you do at voeveo?
I joined full time in June 2007 but have been working on voeveo for three years. My job as Chief Operating Officer means I get to be involved in strategy and planning, marketing and keeping those costs in line. As a director I also get to sit on the Board and oversee the future direction of this great business.
What's some of your favourite content on voeveo?
This is a hard one. Some of our graphic sellers are fantastic such as flyingpaintbox, hypnoteis, funmobility. As for audio, and given my kiwi background, I love the native bird sounds for my ringtones. Great when you are overseas and you hear that little reminder of home.
What kind of mobile phone do you have and why do you like it?
My phone is a Samsung SGH-ZV40. It’s got a great camera and easy access to the menu.
When you're not in the office what are you doing?
Walking, reading, playing games on my PC and relaxing if at home. If I’m overseas then it’s full on visiting as many art galleries, food markets and historic places I can.
What's at the top of your playlist right now?
When I was in Paris I went to the Buddha Bar and left with four albums so I guess they are still getting played the most.
Any great Internet site finds?
Church of the Customer blog, Book.com and Seth’s Blog for business trends and of course Facebook for scrabulous which I play with my 84 year old mum.
